Rolls-Royce Cullinan Debuts May 10

Rolls-Royce enthusiasts have waited three years for this and the time has finally come! On May 10th, the automaker will be debuting its much-anticipated sports utility vehicle (SUV), the Cullinan. And many have waited a long time to see this day come.

The Cullinan’s design will not fall from the look that is known for the Rolls-Royce brand, following in the Phantom sedan’s footsteps; meaning, the Cullinan will have the large grille dominating at the front of the SUV, known for Rolls, and it will also have those large and rectangular headlights on the grille. The SUV will most likely also have the Rolls’ sedan’s 6.75-liter V12 biturbo engine.

Motor1 reported that the interior will also encompass similar elements of design from that of the Phantom, with a huge screen on top of the center stack and a wide variety of material and color combos, luxuriously woven together within the interior to produce a inside look that is known for Rolls-Royce.

Rolls has been touting this SUV as a high-end auto and they have reportedly been benchmarking it against the Land Rover Range Rover; most likely the company is testing against comfort, ride, and luxury elements to ensure it is the grandest of grand SUVs worldwide.

A release date of the Cullinan should be rolling down the pipe soon, and production should commence shortly on the SUV; however, the question on everyone’s mind is price tag. With the Phantom starting at $450,000, and many similar elements from this sedan within this new SUV, the Cullinan will probably surpass this cost. Additionally, the customized factors will definitely drive up the price on the SUV, exceeding the price tag when it comes to other luxury SUV competitors like Bentley Bentayga and Land Rover Range Rover.

Still, we will have to wait and see. With its debut in a few short days, more information will likely be provided with its official reveal.
