Purchasing a brand-new pickup truck has never offered so many options for consumers before. With competition within the industry at an all-time high, auto companies continue to introduce newer pickup models with exciting features, that include electric variants with bigger batteries in the form of pickup powertrains. Then, there’s all those incredible technology and infotainment options!
Whether you are looking for a heavy-duty, mid-sized, or full-sized pickup, below are some of the best of the best trucks coming out in the next year or so that will have you rushing to your local dealership to trade in what you have now, or even upgrade.
As you’ll see below, the 2020 lineup for new pickups looks brighter than ever before.

The F Series is going through a massive makeover, and that is all thanks to the competition burning up within the pickup truck market. The lineup will ditch their double-bar grille, to unveil an incredible frontal styling that will wow any pickup truck enthusiast. In terms of other changes to the Ford’s Super Duty, expect the F-150’s standards when it comes to interior, or exterior designs. Still, under the hood, there will be some massive changes come 2020.
With a Power Stroke turbo-diesel 6.7-liter V8, showcasing 450 horsepower and 935 pound-foot torque, there is a huge possibility that these pickups to offer even more output. When it comes to the F-450’s 6.8-liter Triton V10 and the F-250/F-350’s petrol option of 6.2-liter V8; both these will head to retirement status. Regardless, the Super Duty pickups will provide a V8 7.0-liter engine with automatic transmission control at 10-speed from here on out.
The even better news is that the price tag shouldn’t increase too much on the Super Duty series, versus the trucks that are on their way out. Still, there might be some minor adjustments, so those interested in this lineup should take note.
