Ferrari Three-Peats Red Dot Award

Ferrari has a lot to celebrate! The luxurious sports car was recently honored with the ‘best of the best’ award when it comes to the highest expression of ground-breaking and quality design, known to many auto enthusiasts as the Red Dot. It was given the nod during the yearly Product Design event for 2017, and the model to receive this Red Dot was the Ferrari J50; a limited-edition series tailored to celebrate the vehicle’s 50 years in Japan.

MSN reported that the J50 is a two-seater chic sports vehicle with mid-rear engined roadster and modeled after the 488 Spider. It features a design that is incredibly futuristic and the car was admired for innovation by the Red Dot judges.

So, who from Ferrari should take the award home and call it their own? The company’s design team, under the leadership of Flavio Manzoni. As it seems only ten cars will be built under this J50 modeling.

The Red Dot design expert judges also handed out awards to Ferrari when it came to the enhanced quality of design for the LaFerrari Aperta, 458 MM Speciale, and GTC4Lusso. The company’s interesting legacy is captured in the wide range of differing sports cars within the auto industry.

As Ferrari’s flagship GT vehicle, the GTC4Lusso offers a unique understanding around the four-seat concept and combines incredible performance when it comes to any driving environment, along with sporty class and lavish comfort.

As a special and limited-edition series, the LaFerrari Aperta is an open-top model of Ferrari’s celebrated LaFerrari supercar; a vehicle that combines Formula 1 and GT engineering.
Meanwhile the 458 MM Speciale is a recent model from the company’s unique One-Off initiative, a customized option for Ferrari’s clients who want an exceptional vehicle with tailored styling and innovation.

Congratulations goes out to Ferrari for all of their recent Red Dot acknowledgments.
