Sold and marketed by Ford, the F-Series is a lineup of light-duty and medium-duty pickups that have been in production since 1948.
Having said that, this F-Series also includes chassis cab, full-sized, and commercial vehicles as well. As of this year, the Ford F-Series umbrellas the F-150 pickup, Super Duty trucks under Class 3-5 (F-250 to F-550), and Super Duty trucks under Class 6-8 (F-650 and F-750).
Now in its thirteenth generation, the F-150 is said to be the most popular model under the F-Series lineup. Since 1977, the F-Series has been the top-selling pickup truck across America, and the best-selling vehicle since the late ‘80s.
Since the 2018 model year, it also has generated $41 billion dollars of yearly revenue for Ford, making it a brand that is more valuable than Nike or Coca-Cola. Who needs over-the-top running shoes or soda pop when you have an F-Series pickup, right?
